One of my local friends recommended and took me here. It’s an isolated area from the other parts of Petaling Jaya.
Even PJ Local Malaysians seem to have no idea about the existence of this place unless they reside in the vicinity. Without being introduced or search for reviews on google, people would never know this area.
Although finding parking is easy. If I’m by myself or just mingle with expat friends, I would have never have found this place.
The area is in a small Chinese local Kampung (Village). It has so many nice local food (according to the friend – I haven’t tried yet!) as well as local Chinese houses, which I found very nice.
Not only in this area but On Kee has a branch in Subang, which is not so isolated. I recommend this branch, not just for the parking but for the scenery of Chinese Kampung, which was very nice too.
Prawn wanton – prawn is fresh and tasty. Served in soup.
Kuey Teow soup with chicken
I felt it is similar to Ipoh style. I had a similar one in Ipoh. I love Kuey Teow soup, its one of my favorites.
Crispy tasty. I originally like Crispy Roast Pork more than BBQ Pork (Char Siu). The spicy sauce is added to taste.
Don’t forget Taugeh, beansprout.
This is local’s recommendation, must try 🙂
Restoran On Kee
I also think you can walk to this place from Kelana Jaya Station. Though the locals choose not to walk.
